Band bio

Once upon a time in the town of Gainesville, Florida lived a little band called The Busdrivers. After countless lineup changes and many years of bringing the ska-punk goodness to listeners all over the world, the band members decided it would be best to call it quits. Some members moved on to get married, while others pursued graduate school and others became full time pimps, players, and hustlers.

However, it wasn't long before a few ex-busdrivers had what may or may not have been an excellent idea: What if they could bring back some old school members of TBD, and resurface with a new lineup, new songs, new name, and 15% less suck?

TBD OG drummer Matt and trombone player David signed on immediately, and Erin agreed to play trumpet as long as she was free to leave the band when her career as a solo acoustic pop punk industrial metal emo artist takes off. The big challenge would be getting a few of the old school members to join the fight. In order to secure OG sax player Adam Leko, they had to promise him he could be late to seven practices per month, with no expectation of late fees in the form donuts or natty lite. Dan agreed to play bass, but requested all summers off for Jew Camp, and all weekends off for birthdays, Bar Mitzvahs, and other various holidays which are most likely fictional. As the final piece of the puzzle, Chad decided to play guitar in the band when he realized all the cool kids play guitar and chicks love guitar players.

With drums, guitar, bass, trombone, sax, and trumpet all in place, One and Done was born. Sure they had no lead singer, but vocals aren't that important anyway, and several of the band members have pretended to sing at one time or another.

What is the meaning of One and Done? Nobody really knows. It could be a sports reference, or maybe it is hinting towards the single cd released by The Busdrivers before they called it quits. Or maybe they couldn't think of anything better, but figured anything beats The Busdrivers? Keep your eye out for One and Done, probably coming soon to a venue nowhere near you!
